Next, would we proceed to our "if you are _____ " section, then "don't bother", and walk away if there is even a hint of affirmation of just one item? Sounds silly, doesn't it? If someone did pull out the "list" and proceed to ask you their questions, I'm sure you would be offended and would probably walk away first. Yet, here on-line, we think nothing of being so rude. I find myself being turned off by the majority of ads. It's not surprising that it doesn't work out as well for many as they thought it would. My new approach is to find something we have in common to discuss and perhaps enjoy together, same as we would do if we met at a party. I have eclectic tastes and a variety of interests. One of my enjoyments is old films. Over the past few years, watching old films has become a favorite past-time. I enjoy films of all eras, the old silents through the present. I mostly enjoy films from the 30's through the 60's with films from the 30's and 40's being my favorite. Mainly, I like comedy, drama, and adventure, and yes the occasional romance.
